Beguiling scents, sorted by fragrance

To the west of Singen, between Hilzingen and Binningen, Tuscan fragrances tempt passers-by to stay a while.

More than 500 different fragrant, herbal and medicinal plants grow in the 6.000m² scent and show garden of the Syringa herb nursery. Rarities like the chocolate scent plant, the gummi bear flower or the poppyseed-roll flower grow here alongside assorted varieties of, sage, mint, basil and thyme. Visitors are welcome to walk on the paths between the flower beds – and to follow their noses past the collections of lemon-fragrant plants, historical roses, through the miniature Provence, to the smelly plant corner.
